Our installation crew recently coated a back patio in Santa Clarita. The patio was previously coated three years ago with stucco (see below pictures) and was cracked and chipping. The homeowner was a previous customer who had hired our sister company (ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING) for a small paint job and was looking for a durable concrete coating.
We began the project by removing the old stucco coating and then used a 600 lb. floor grinder to profile the concrete and make it porous throuh resurfacing. We then filled cracks and pits with a concrete mender.
We then apply a polyurea base coat, followed by colored flakes for improved appearance, texture, and slip resistance. Once the base coat is fully cured, we apply a clear polyaspartic topcoat for long-lasting finish.
The homeowner selected the Sandstone chip color which looks amazing. Now that his back patio is looking great, he’s ready to start hosting summer barbeques!
