We were recently hired to coat a 3,600sqft commercial warehouse in Valencia, CA. The warehouse was built in the year 2000 and the existing concrete was suffering from minor cracks.
The owner wanted to protect and revitalize the look of the space and needed a durable, long-lasting concrete coating. He selected the Slate Stone chip color for a stylish, modern look.
We began the project with a 600 lb. floor grinder to profile the concrete and make it porous throuh resurfacing. We then filled cracks and pits with a concrete mender.
We then apply a polyurea base coat, followed by colored flakes for improved appearance, texture, and slip resistance. Once the base coat is fully cured, we applied a clear polyaspartic topcoat for a long-lasting finish.
